A night at the flicks

We went out to see a movie last night, 'My Super Ex Girlfriend'. It starred Uma Thurman basically playing an autobiographical role (nah just kidding, but she is a foreboding woman) as G-Girl superhero / Jennifer Jones mousy and glasses. Eddie Izzard plays Professor Bedlam, her arch nemesis. Luke Wilson is Matt Saunders who starts dating Jennifer Jones who then reveals her true identity (G-Girl) to him, but problem is he's in love with someone else. Matt breaks up with her, and you know what they say about a woman scorned.... and she's got superpowers (throws a shark though his window, takes all his clothes when he has a company meeting, etc.) A good comedy, but the night we went the cinema was packed and had a smelly person sitting in our row. Also resent being asked to pay $5.50 for a pack of M&Ms. But the movie was worth seeing if only just for the bed scene. And Uma Thurman either really is crazy or a very good actor.
