a hard time home alone.

We've had the kittens for two whole days now I’m back at work today, but Dino is taking some holiday so he’s home alone with the kittens.

Here are some extracts from his mail messages to me this morning – I think he is having a little trouble with ‘the kids’

------------------
9:26 AM

just sat down to write you an email about an hour ago, and then
remembered to put some washing on. when I was in the laundry i saw
some wee on the Jackie Stewart picnic blanket that we were using to
block under the door. I picked it up to wash, and underneath it was
full of wee - so I’ve just spent ages cleaning up. the wee had gone
on the wooden clothes horse. i took it out in the garden to hose it
down and then got my jeans all wet. so i put on my jogging bottoms
which are now even thinner for Chester’s little claws to climb up.
they are both on my lap at the moment, trying to fight - oww oww

10:19 am

I put the clothes horse outside, and the blanket it soaking in the
sink cos there is already a wash on. r & c both seem to have been
manic since I got up over 2 hours ago. they have been for an
adventure into my bedroom too. I’ve been playing the fishing toy with
them to try and wear them out. they both are watching the washing in
the washing machine too

10:57

..{snip}... and the kits have already been for a
wander around you bedroom when I went in there to get a
hanger7uuuu8pouyyyyyyyy8/=

that last bit was Reuben walking over the keyboard

I had to put the washing in the bridge cos both of them were leaping
at the boxer shorts hanging on the rail and pulling them down. also
my gym jogging bottoms are all plucked, just noticed. hmm, should we
swap them for pugs?

re: weeing, Reuben has wee'ed in the litter tray this morning cos I
saw him. I also cleaned out one poo. it must be time for them to
sleep soon?

11:43

nearly 12pm, and they've not had a sleep yet. seem to be fighting a
lot this morning, lots of yowling - not sure who that is.

hope the cats don’t hurt themselves with all the fighting, it sounds
like a cat on heat! they keep jumping on my lap if I’m on the
computer and then biting each other

-------------------------

Chester seemed so quiet with the Cat Lady, but since coming home he has turned into some sort of Ninja cat, leaping around , paws flayed, claws exposed. He's a good couple of cm shorter than Reuben but he now seems to be the one whose middle name should be trouble.

P.S. If you want to know why one of our picnic blankets is named afer Jackie, just ask ;)

Some vets only carry F4 (it has a chlamydial component...breeder may not be happy with this).
We have used both but only routinely use F3..not because of any compliations.
WE did not have trouble with either..but if breeder is biased against F4 then only use F3 (F4 tends to be a bit boutiquey...its eficacy not fully validated..ie if you have it will it prevent chlamydial upper resp infection or not..still debate about it..and F4 that I remmeber were Fort Dodge Vacc from USA..dont think any trial work done in OZ...to be safe and in accordance with breeder just use F3
