So what did we do this hot steamy weekend? The ideal pastime for a 31 degree day, rushing around the CBD shopping for a winter coat! I had asked for a puffa jacket for my birthday, but the shops still seemed to be in Summer mode, do they save the Winter gear for a colder day? Or maybe those down jackets are too warm for the Aussie wintertime. Will I be resigned to buying on Ebay, from someone in Russia?

Joe also bought me some emu oil, and a card with an emu with long sparkly eyelashes. Glug glug.

BTW, apologies if you sent in email or SMS on Not The Real McCoy last Saturday night, it didnt seem to be working properly. Hopefully normal service will be resumed by next weekend.
