With all the rain the last few days, the Sir Walter Buffalo instant lawn we laid a couple of weeks ago seems to be taking hold quite well. Come spring and we will have a few plants in the garden too.

Before you ask, the pole and chain link fence is staying 'cos we like it. Dino has volunteered to give it a fresh lick of paint. The fence is one of those funky things we both like and see as very Australian. Its a shame so many folk think we should rip it out and replace it with some sort of pseudo Victorian picket fence or 2 meter high brick wall and huge gates.
